Compensation: $50,000 to $75,000 Annually + Benefits

Digital Marketing Recruiters is the recruitment division of Intero Digital. We have been in the digital marketing and recruitment space for over 25 years. We work with highly skilled marketing, digital marketing, and sales professionals and match them with our clients from diverse industries across the United States. Our selection process incorporates comprehensive resume screening, shortlisting, conducting video-recorded interviews and providing client information, administering written assessments (if required by the client), arranging client interviews, and facilitating job offers and placements.

The Mission (aka The Role)

As our HR Coordinator, you’ll ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant HR operations across the company. You’ll support employees and leaders, maintain accurate HR data, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and keep our people processes running like clockwork.


This role requires exceptional confidentiality, initiative, organization, and communication—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous, remote-first environment.


The candidate may be based in any of the following US states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.


Mission Objectives (Essential Functions)


Employee and Leadership Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR questions and requests.
  • Troubleshoot HR-related issues and guide employees and Direct Supports.
  • Assist with policy communication, reporting, and HR projects.


Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth entry and exit experience.


HRIS and Data Management

  • Maintain HRIS and employee personnel records.
  • Process personnel changes and generate recurring and ad-hoc HR reports.
  • Manage employee data and partner with payroll to ensure accuracy in pay, deductions, and leave tracking.
  • Oversee personnel document creation, retention, and destruction.


Performance Management Support

  • Maintain performance management tools and workflows.
  • Support Direct Supports throughout the review cycle.


Benefits Administration

  • Serve as the main contact for benefits brokers and vendors.
  • Manage annual open enrollment administrative process.
  • Process new hire and qualifying life event benefit elections.
  • Reconcile carrier invoices and premiums.
  • Administer parental leave and federal/state leave programs (FMLA + state leave).


Policies, Compliance and HR Programs

  • Support implementation of HR policies, programs, and HR technology.
  • Oversee multi-state and federal labor law compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.

  • General HR experience and basic knowledge of employment law are a plus.
  • Experience implementing and managing a data management system.
  • High level of confidentiality, sound judgment, and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to context switch and manage high-volume workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong reporting and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with project management tools (Monday.com a plus).
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset in a remote-first environment.
  • Formal education is not required—skill, creativity, and initiative are what matter most.
